Terms of Service

The agreement between you and ShipSure. Plain language, and accurate about what the product does today.

LAST UPDATED 17 August 2026

1Who this is between

“ShipSure”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of shipsure.space. “You” means the person or organization holding an account. By creating an account you accept these terms; if you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2What the service is

ShipSure independently verifies work produced by AI coding agents. Verification runs on your own machine through our CLI and reports a verdict — tests, build, type checks, regressions, scope and your project policies.

What it is not. ShipSure is a checking tool, not a guarantee. It reports what your project’s own tests and rules say. It cannot detect a defect your tests do not cover, and a Verified result means “the checks you configured passed” — not “this code is correct”. You remain responsible for what you ship.

3Accounts

You need a working email address and a payment method. Keep your password and your CLI tokens confidential — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at security@shipsure.space if you believe an account or a machine token has been compromised, and revoke the machine from Settings.

You must be at least 16, and not barred from using the service under applicable law.

Invited members. If you join an organization by invitation, you do not hold your own subscription — you use a seat that organization pays for, and these terms apply to you through it. An owner or admin of that organization can change your role or remove you at any time, which ends your access to its projects and runs immediately. If the organization’s subscription lapses, so does your access.

Losing access to your password. A reset link sent to your registered address is the only recovery path. It works once and expires in an hour, and completing a reset signs the account out on every device. We cannot recover an account whose email address you no longer control.

4Plans and prices

There is no free tier and no trial. Every plan is paid from the first day. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you are.

PlanMonthlyAnnualIncluded
Starter$19$1903 projects · 250 runs/month · full run history
Pro$49$49015 projects · 2,000 runs/month · full run history
Scale$149$1,490Unlimited projects · Unlimited runs/month · full run history

The annual rate is ten months’ price for twelve months of service, which is why it is described as two months free. It is a discount for paying up front, not a trial — billing starts on day one either way, and the discount applies to the whole term rather than to two specific months.

Seats. Each plan includes a number of team members. A seat is occupied by an accepted member or by an invitation that has been sent and not yet accepted, revoked or expired — so an outstanding invitation counts against your limit until one of those three things happens. You cannot send an invitation, and an invitation cannot be accepted, once the limit is reached; revoke an invitation or remove a member to free a seat, or move to a plan with more.

5Payment and renewal

  • You are charged when you subscribe. The first period begins immediately.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until cancelled. Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans renew annually.
  • Payments are processed by PayPal. Your card details are entered directly into PayPal and never reach our servers. We hold a reusable token, not your card number.
  • Renewal dates hold to the calendar. A subscription started on the 31st renews on the last day of shorter months rather than drifting forward.

6Failed payments

If a renewal is declined, your organization moves to past due. You keep your data, your history and read access; what you lose is the ability to start new runs.

We retry the payment on a schedule across roughly a week. If every attempt fails, the subscription expires and verification stops. Your data is not deleted at that point — resubscribing restores access.

7Cancelling

  • Cancel any time from Billing. By default you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and are not charged again.
  • Cancelling deletes the payment method we hold. We do not keep a usable card for an account we will not bill again.
  • You can also cancel immediately, which forfeits the remainder of the paid period.

8Refunds

UK and EU consumers. You have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a distance contract. Because the service is delivered digitally and immediately, starting to use it during that period counts as requesting immediate performance — you may still cancel within 14 days, and we will refund the portion you have not used. Contact billing@shipsure.space.

Everyone else. Subscriptions are otherwise non-refundable, with two exceptions we apply without argument: you were charged after cancelling, or the service was materially unavailable for a sustained period during your billing cycle. Ask and we will look at it.

We do not refund for unused capacity within a period you chose to pay for, and we do not pro-rate an annual plan cancelled mid-term beyond the statutory right above.

9Price changes

We may change prices. Existing subscribers keep their current price for the plan they are on until they change plans; if we do raise a renewal price, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand and you can cancel before it takes effect.

10Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use ShipSure to verify code you have no right to access.
  • Attempt to break, overload or circumvent the service — including rate limits, plan limits or tenant isolation.
  • Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.
  • Use it to build or operate anything unlawful.

We may suspend an account that is causing harm to the service or to others. Where we can, we will tell you first.

11Your code and your data

You keep all rights to your code. We claim no licence over it, and we do not receive it — verification runs on your machine and file contents are not uploaded. What we store, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy page.

12Availability

We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. Current service state is on the Status page, which checks live rather than displaying a hand-set banner.

Because verification runs locally, an outage on our side stops the dashboard, run history and uploads — it does not stop shipsure verify from working on your machine.

13Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.

14Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may end it for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund any period paid for and not delivered.

15Changes to these terms

Material changes will be announced in the changelog and emailed to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use ShipSure after that means you accept them.

16Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
